Rotate, flip or mirror a photo in a tap

A sideways phone photo or a mirrored selfie is quick to fix. Attach the picture and ask ToolGPT to rotate or flip it: each option is drawn on your own photo, and the one you tap is saved as a new copy.

What it can do

  • Five options on your photo

Rotate left, rotate right, upside down, mirror and flip vertically, next to the photo as it is.

  • Exact quarter turns

Turns are 90-degree steps with no resizing, and the width and height swap as they should.

  • Mirror a selfie

A left-to-right flip swaps the sides, which fixes mirrored text in a front-camera photo.

  • Say it exactly

“Rotate 90° right” or “mirror it” skips the options and makes the file straight away.

  • Your choice of format

Keep the photo's own format, or save it as JPEG, PNG or WEBP.

How it works

  1. 1

    Attach the photo

Add a JPEG, PNG or WEBP with the + button, or drop it into the chat.

  2. 2

Tap a turn or a flip

Ask to rotate or flip it and tap the option that looks right, or say exactly which way to turn it.

  3. 3

    Download the new copy

The turned picture appears in the chat with a download button. Your original photo is not changed.

See each turn before you choose

Phones sometimes save a picture on its side, and scanners can feed a page upside down. Instead of guessing which way to turn it, ToolGPT shows your photo rotated left, rotated right and upside down, plus mirrored and flipped versions, next to the original. Tap the one that is the right way up.

If you already know what you need, say it: “rotate it 90 degrees to the left” or “mirror it” makes the file without showing the options.

What happens to the file

Each turn is an exact quarter turn, so the picture is not resized or cropped. A JPEG or WEBP is saved again after turning, so the file is not byte-for-byte the same, and camera details and GPS location are not carried over. The new photo is a separate file; the one you attached stays as it was.

The rotation is done in your browser, so the photo stays on your device.

Frequently asked questions

Can I rotate by any angle, like 15 degrees?

No. Photos turn in quarter turns: 90, 180 or 270 degrees, with or without a flip.

Does rotating lower the quality?

A quarter turn moves pixels without resizing them. A JPEG or WEBP is saved again afterwards, so it is not identical byte for byte, but nothing is scaled.

Can I rotate a video too?

Yes. That is ToolGPT's video rotator: attach the video and ask for a turn.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. The photo is rotated in your browser.
