ToolGPT

Watermark a video with text or your logo

Burn a name, a handle or a logo into every frame of a video. ToolGPT previews the mark in five positions on a frame of your own video, then makes the watermarked copy in your browser.

What it can do

  • Text or an image

Use typed text, or a logo image you have attached to the chat.

  • Five positions, previewed

See the mark at the bottom right, bottom left, bottom center, top right and top left of your own frame.

  • Three sizes

Small, medium or large, measured against the frame, so the mark looks the same on a 4K video and a small one.

  • Opacity from 10% to 100%

Make the mark faint or fully solid. ToolGPT can show one position at three opacities to compare.

  • Never invented

If you do not say what the mark should read, ToolGPT asks instead of making something up.

How it works

  1. 1

    Attach the video and logo

Add the video with the + button. For a logo, attach the image too, before you ask.

  2. 2

    Choose a position

Say what the mark should be. Tap the preview with the position you like.

  3. 3

    Download the watermarked video

The new file appears with a download button. Your original video is not changed.

Getting the mark right

A logo has to be in the chat before you ask for it: attach the image, then say “use my logo”. A PNG with a transparent background gives the cleanest edges, because only the logo itself is drawn over the video.

Text is set in the browser's standard sans-serif typeface. A brand font is not available in this tool. If you need one, save your text as a PNG image and use it as a logo.

After the first result, adjust in plain words, such as “smaller” or “more transparent”, and ToolGPT makes a new version.

What a watermark does not do

The mark stays in the same place for the whole video. It cannot appear at a chosen moment, move or change between scenes.

A watermark adds something; it does not hide anything. To cover a face, a license plate or an old logo, ask ToolGPT to blur that area. That is a separate tool, and it blurs a fixed area rather than following anything that moves.

The watermark is added in your browser. An AVI has to be converted to MP4 first, which ToolGPT can do in the same chat.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use my own logo?

Yes. Attach the logo image to the chat, then ask ToolGPT to use it as the watermark.

Can I remove a watermark from a video?

No. This tool adds a mark. It cannot remove one that is already in a video.

Is my video uploaded?

No. The video and your logo stay on your device.
