ToolGPT

Make a video from your JPG photos

Attach your JPG photos in the order you want them and ask for a slideshow. ToolGPT fits every photo whole into the frame, adds a crossfade between them and writes a real MP4 video you can post or share.

How it works

  1. 1

    Attach your JPG photos

Open ToolGPT and press the + button beside the message box, or drop the photos into the chat in the order you want. No account is needed to start.

  2. 2

    Choose the shape and timing

Pick wide 16:9, tall 9:16, square or portrait 4:5, each previewed on your first photo. Say how long each photo should stay, such as “3 seconds each”.

  3. 3

    Download the MP4

The video appears as a card in the chat with a download button. Your photos are not changed.

Why convert JPG to MP4?

Social sites and TVs handle one video better than a folder of photos, so a JPG slideshow is an easy way to share a trip or an event. Each photo can stay on screen from half a second to 30 seconds, in a wide, tall, square or 4:5 frame.

How ToolGPT makes the slideshow

The slideshow is made in your browser, so your photos are not uploaded to a server. Nothing is cropped: each photo is fitted whole into the frame over a blurred backdrop, or over black or white if you prefer.

A slideshow can hold up to 200 photos and run up to 10 minutes. Photos crossfade into each other unless you ask for hard cuts.

About JPG

JPG, also written JPEG, is the standard format for photographs, used by cameras, phones and almost every website. It compresses images with loss, so photos stay small while still looking natural. It has no transparency, and strong compression or repeated saving adds blocky artifacts, especially around text and sharp edges.

About MP4

MP4 is the standard MPEG-4 video container, used by phones, cameras, streaming sites and editing apps. It usually holds H.264 or HEVC video with AAC sound. Its strength is that it plays almost everywhere; its weakness is that the video is compressed with loss, so each re-encode costs a little quality.
