ToolGPT

Make a video slideshow from your photos

Holiday pictures, a product lineup, a birthday montage: attach the photos to ToolGPT and ask for a slideshow. It previews the shapes on your first photo, holds each picture as long as you like, and builds a real video file in your browser.

What it can do

  • Four shapes

Wide 16:9, tall 9:16, square or portrait 4:5, previewed on your first photo. If you do not choose, the shape closest to most of your photos is used.

  • Nothing cropped

Every photo is shown whole, over a blurred backdrop, black or white.

  • Timing per photo

Hold every photo for the same time, from half a second to 30 seconds (3 seconds if you do not say), or give each its own.

  • Crossfades or cuts

A half-second crossfade between photos by default, adjustable up to 3 seconds, or straight cuts.

  • Your order

Photos play in the order you attached them, or in any order you describe.

  • A real video

An MP4 by default, or WEBM, MKV or MOV, at 30 frames per second.

How it works

  1. 1

    Attach your photos

Add JPEG, PNG or WEBP images with the + button, in the order you want them shown.

  2. 2

    Choose a shape and timing

Ask for a slideshow, tap one of the shapes drawn on your first photo, and say how long each photo should stay.

  3. 3

    Download the video

The slideshow appears in the chat as a video you can play and download.

Size, length and backgrounds

The video's shorter side is at most 1080 pixels and never larger than your biggest photo, so small scans do not become a soft, oversized file. One slideshow holds up to 200 photos and runs up to 10 minutes.

Portrait photos in a wide frame, or wide photos in a tall one, leave empty space. Choose how to fill it: a blurred copy of the photo, black or white. ToolGPT can show one shape with all three backgrounds so you can compare them.

Adding music

The slideshow is made without sound. To add a song, attach the audio file and ask ToolGPT to put it on the slideshow it just made; the music is fitted to the video's length.

Each photo is held still, with a crossfade or a cut between photos. There are no zoom or pan effects and no text over the slides. Everything is put together in your browser, so your photos are not uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

How many photos can I use?

Up to 200, as long as the video stays within 10 minutes.

Will my photos be cropped?

No. Each photo is fitted whole into the frame, with the background you choose around it.

Can I change the order afterwards?

Yes. Describe the new order and ToolGPT makes the slideshow again in that order.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. The video is built in your browser.
