ToolGPT

Convert images to a PDF by asking

Attach photos, scans or screenshots and say “make these one PDF”. ToolGPT shows the page setups as cards; tap one and the PDF is built in your browser, one image per page, in the order you chose.

What it can do

  • One image per page

Every image gets its own upright page, in the order you attached them or the order you name.

  • A4, Letter or fit

Choose A4 or US Letter in portrait or landscape, or let each page take the exact size of its image.

  • Three margin choices

No border, a small white border (the default) or a large one around each image on A4 and Letter pages.

  • Setups shown before anything is built

Each page setup appears as a card with the page count, so you pick the layout before the PDF is made.

  • Works with earlier results

Photos you cropped, resized or compressed earlier in the same chat can go straight into the PDF.

How it works

  1. 1

    Attach your images

Add JPG, PNG or WEBP files with the + button, in the order you want the pages. No account is needed to start.

  2. 2

    Tap a page setup

Ask for a PDF. ToolGPT shows A4 and Letter in portrait and landscape, plus an option that sizes each page to its image.

  3. 3

    Download the PDF

The PDF appears as a card in the chat with a download button. Your images are not changed.

How the pages are laid out

On A4 or Letter pages, each image is scaled to fit inside the page and centered, with a white margin around it. The large margin is twice as wide as the small one. Ask for “no margin” and the image can reach the edges of the page. A small image is not stretched to fill the page; it is placed in the middle at its printed size: the resolution saved in the file, so a 300 dpi passport photo is 35 × 45 mm, or 72 pixels per inch when the file has none.

With the fit option, every page is exactly the size of its picture, so there is no border and no orientation to choose. This suits screenshots and other images that will mostly be viewed on screen.

What it does not do

ToolGPT puts each image on its own page, upright. It does not rotate pages, arrange several pictures on one page, or add text on top, and it says so instead of guessing. Attach photos that are already the right way up.

Each image is stored in the PDF as a high-quality JPEG, so transparent areas of a PNG become white. The page setup cards handle up to 50 images; for more, make two PDFs.

Made on your device

The PDF is assembled in your browser, so your images are not uploaded to a server to make it. That is useful for receipts, ID scans and signed forms. Once the PDF is in the chat, you can ask ToolGPT to compress it or to export its pages as images again.

Frequently asked questions

Can I choose the page order?

Yes. Pages follow the order you attached the images, or the order you give in your message.

Are my images uploaded?

No. The PDF is built in your browser.

Can I make the PDF smaller afterwards?

Yes. Ask ToolGPT to compress the PDF it just made. It shows four compression options, each with a size estimate.
